What is "Use Alternate Commands Method"?



User Alternate Commands Method, formerly labeled as "Peer to Peer Connection", is an advanced feature intended for non-North American drivers seeing latency issues with driving commands. Normally, driving commands are securely routed through our servers in the US, but this option will route commands more directly from driver to robot, using a network of servers around the world.

Enabling Use Alternate Commands Method on Chrome

1. To enable this feature in the Chrome UI select the Advanced Settings menu.
 

2. Select Use Alternate Commands Method to enable it. 



Enabling Use Alternate Commands Method on iOS

1. On the Driver's iOS device select the Settings menu. 


2. Select Advanced.
 

3. Finally select Use Alternate Commands Method.
